SMACNA College of Fellows Scholarship Award Winner
Mark Swanson, grandson of Erwin Zirotski, a thirty year veteran of F. E. Moran, won the 2010 Victor and Marty Comforte College of Fellows Scholarship. Mark will attend Illinois Wesleyan University this fall. Mark is an outstanding student who is a member of the National Honor Society and the Foreign Language Honor Society. He is an Eagle Scout, a volunteer at the Field museum, and plans to become a scientist that studies wildlife.
The $2000 scholarship was designated for outstanding young people who are SMACNA Chicago members, employees of SMACNA contractors, staff, or family members of any of these groups. The scholarship goes toward tuition at an accredited four-year college or university.
